Rinad Fatullaev, better known as Rinadzy, is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter from Azerbaijan. Despite starting his career in 2020, the 18-year-old artist has already managed to make a name for himself in the music industry.
Just a few months after charting top 150 on the Apple Music charts for his country, Rinadzy released a music video for his first studio-produced single titled ‘For the Game’, which has racked up some impressive numbers in a short period of time and took over TikTok. Rinadzy announced the release via his Instagram on August the 28th.
Arriving with a well-directed video, in an unforgettable presidential Versace suite, the playful and energetic track started gaining massive attention on Youtube, as Rinadzy displayed his hitmaking potential with another bulletproof hook.
“We made ourselves like this, nobody made us/Slip up one time they gon’ try to come take us” the young artist raps in the second verse. As the track was gradually gaining more and more views, a well-known TikTok editor, responsible for Tory Lanez’s viral freestyle ’She make it clap’, uploaded an edit of Rinadzy’s music video, featuring the chorus and the third verse. This ignited a huge trend. Shortly after, Tiktok was flooded with users posting different quotes using Rinadzy’s song. As of now, the music video has hit over 100 thousand views, and the track has over 1 million views across all videos using it on Tiktok. A huge success for Rinadzy.
We managed to reach out to Rinadzy himself regarding the success of his music video, and get his reaction on the Tiktok trend. This is what he had to say:
“Honestly, I didn’t even know the track went viral on Tiktok until I accidentally saw a video with it myself. It’s a funny story. I was just chilling after a studio session, looking at toxic meme’s on Tiktok, as you would expect from me ahah, until I came across one that was using my song, I was like ‘hold up, this video has like 150 thousand views, is my song viral??’, I clicked on the sound and saw all the videos people have been making with my song, it was amazing haha. I saw people asking in the comments for the name of the track, I started replying to them, I was very excited. I didn’t expect that at all. As for the music video, I was thrilled when it hit 100k, we put a lot of work into it and I thanked my fans for making it possible, and told them this is just the beginning.”
