For Kenjah, creativity has never belonged in just one lane.
The Brooklyn-born Jamaican American artist has built a life that moves between music, acting, technology and martial arts, bringing the same sense of purpose to each pursuit. As her profile continues to grow, audiences are beginning to discover an entertainer whose ambitions extend well beyond any single stage or screen.
Kenjah currently appears on the CBS daytime drama Beyond the Gates as Neurologist Dr. Madison Montgomery, adding television actress to a résumé that already includes singer, songwriter, martial artist and STEM professional. While those worlds might appear disconnected, Kenjah sees them as different expressions of the same person.
At the center of it all is a desire to encourage people to embrace every dimension of themselves rather than feeling pressured to fit neatly into one category.

Although Kenjah has been pursuing music professionally for only three years, performance has been part of her story for much longer.
At a Disney Talent Expo in Orlando, Florida, she competed against hundreds of other performers and earned first place for singing and second place for acting. She later auditioned for American Idol, receiving a “Yes” from Randy Jackson, who also encouraged her to explore commercial work.
Years later, Kenjah continues to find opportunities on both sides of the music and entertainment industries.
In 2026, she was considered for a Daytime Emmy nomination, while another acting opportunity will place her in the lead role of a Lifetime movie scheduled for Fall 2026.
Her work has also attracted media attention.
