Waft Of Myst is an electronic musician based in Northern Germany.
After having discovered electronic music using first MIDI devices during the dawn of the DAW’s (80’s), then, suddenly, he lost his connection to the music for quite some time. Other forms of self-expression got more important for him. He concentrated on his Master in computer science. During his career he trained and led people in the industry, before he finally uncovered his passion again for all types of musical genres.
Waft Of Myst’s writing is melodical, emotional, powerful and conscious, which is sometimes complemented by content-rich, soul-wrenching vocals. His experimental perspective and approaches sometimes connect the dynamic nature of his compositions with the quiet harmonies of the emotions. So, he walks the line between mainstream and rulebreaking experiments.
