Twisted blues/rock guitarist Kip Macklejar is a fiercely independent musician with an idiosyncratic style. His sound is built on big, ripping guitar parts, fun arrangements, with almost rap-inspired vocals, and storytelling lyrics dripping with satire. He performs everything except the drum parts on his self-produced tracks, which allows him to record and release his music swiftly.
Born and raised near London and now based in his mother’s hometown of Copenhagen. After his last promising band in Copenhagen imploded, due to factors outside his control, Kip decided to go his own way and opt out of the stress of band dynamics. Now, he begins as an independent artist who loves guitar music, continually striving to master his instrument, and wants to be one of those who are keeping rock alive and kicking, any way he can. Kip Macklejar is an exciting and refreshing emerging artist with something new and original to say.
