Lauralie – GREY

The world of music is always changing, evolving, and giving birth to new talents, and among the artists currently making a name for themselves is Lauralie, a 20-year-old singer-songwriter-producer with a unique and passionate approach to her art. With a background in theatre and a lifelong connection to music, Lauralie is no stranger to the stage or the studio. Her guitar, often described as having a voice of its own, is her medium of choice for conveying emotions and expressing her perspective on existence.

Lauralie made her debut in 2021 with the single “Bully,” a profound examination of human interaction and intent. She followed this with “No Fool,” a song that showcased a ramped-up intensity and a display of newfound confidence. 2022 brought “Where I’m Going,” a track that stands as a culmination of Lauralie’s talents at their peak thus far. This track kicks off her recent EP, ‘441,’ a breathtaking showcase of her production, songwriting, and vocal abilities. Each song on the EP offers insight into Lauralie’s situational awareness and viewpoints, all wrapped up in unbridled passion.

Lauralie’s latest release, ‘Grey,’ is a music video and one of the tracks from the ‘441’ EP. Describing herself as a pop R&B artist with a love for using her voice as an instrument and fusing it with the music, Lauralie places a strong emphasis on harmonies in her work. ‘Grey’ is a song about embracing our differences, a theme that is especially important in today’s world.

The ‘Grey’ music video was produced in collaboration with Oscar-nominated director Catriona Rubenis-Stevens and Jake Primmerman. The team chose a concept set in the 1960s, aiming for a fun, summery, yet retro vibe. The video was shot at the famous Miss America Diner in Jersey City, a location that has been featured in many movies.

With the release of ‘Grey’ and the ‘441’ EP, Lauralie has shown the world her range, her passion, and her commitment to creating music that speaks to the heart. As she continues to evolve as an artist, Lauralie is undoubtedly one to watch in the coming years. Her artistry knows no bounds, and the world will soon find out just how deep it goes.

Don’t miss the ‘Grey’ music video and the ‘441’ EP, available now on all major streaming platforms.
