Mia Mormino is a 19 year old singer, songwriter, dancer, model, and certified makeup artist. Since the age of 3, she always knew she had a burning passion to be a performer.
With dance, Mia has performed at Disneyland numerous times, opened for the New York City Rockettes, the Lincoln Center’s 50th anniversary, and even had the opportunity to perform at the London Olympics in 2012. Along with all of her performing since the age of 3, she has competed in over 100 competitions from the ages of 8 to 18. As a soloist, she won the title of First Place overall soloist winner in January 2017 at Starbound National Talent Competition. She continues to train daily at Millennium Dance Complex in Studio City, California.
With singing and songwriting, Mia has been performing all of her life. At the age of 15, Mia wrote her first single Conflicted , and began to record it 2 years later when she was told she had such a talent for songwriting. Since then she has written her second single, Never Again , and has featured on Hamster and Moscato track, Shining Through. She has two music videos out for both Conflicted and Shining Through and is very eager to create more, with the help of her incredible team. Currently Mia is working on her 3 EP’s she will be releasing in the upcoming year, with the first one set to be released in January. She is so excited to share all of the hard work she has put into these EP’s, and can’t wait to continue to create more!
Here is what Mia Mormino had to say about “WTF is Going On”, “This song describes my thought process as I was experiencing the many curve balls my partner, at the time, was throwing at me. Because of his very unexplainable behavior and actions, my mind couldn’t help but wonder if there was someone else, if I was too much to handle, or if he just thought he was above me in some way. I’m a very patient person, ESPECIALLY when it comes to relationships, but at a certain point when the only dialogue in my head was “wtf is going on”, that’s when I knew something had to be done. This track’s musical composition is very inspired by “Cell Block Tango” from the musical “Chicago”. I feel the tango vibe and intricate beats really makes this song stand out from the “pop scene” we have today. The music video for this track will premiere July 19th, so stay tuned!”
