ONE:FIFTY is a Berlin based Hip Hop/Pop duo consisting of producer, sound engineer and singer/songwriter Calvin Caumanns (25) and rapper/songwriter Lawrence Liepsner (27). Their sound is characterized by a harmonious blend of warm, high-end productions and profound lyrics. Creative, spherical sound design is a central recognizable feature of their art. After their debut in 2018, the young Berlin duo released 3 songs, including “Institutional Lives”, which accumulated over 600,000 streams on Spotify and 200,000 views on YouTube. It was officially selected by the “Festival du Clip Lyon” in 2018. More recently, ONE:FIFTY enjoyed viral success with the release of their single “XTC”.
Now looking to build off of this momentum, ONE:FIFTY releases their new single “EASY” along with a brilliant new music video. With “EASY”, ONE:FIFTY embraces the chaotic and irrational nature of love, and the vulnerability it can lead us to feel. This is captured perfectly within the accompanying music video, which contains symbolism and imagery that invokes all of these feelings within the viewer/listener.
