Known for a unique level of versatility, flow & lyricism, Shotime is a special talent born & raised in the Poverty of New Jersey. Shotime found his love for music at a very young age, landing him in a live band as lead trumpet at only age 9! His love for music makes him one of the most passionate creative hard working artist I have came across in a long time! His abilities to create good music on the spot is a reason he will strive in his musical career. I’ve watched him live in studio record a full LP (10 songs) in ONE session! No pen, paper, iphone or help with structure! I couldn’t believe my eyes! When asked how he did it, he looked at me and said, “I’m just speaking my pain”. Another thing that stood out to me was Shotime gives alot of credit and acknowledgement to his “Super Producer” Tike. Tike, also from New Jersey produces 95% of Shotime’s work & its been said these two have chemistry like “Jordan & Pippen”. Close sources to both parties say Shotime doesn’t choose the beats he creates on, but in fact just puts the headphones on & tike presses record! With talent, drive and ambition like that, there’s no doubt Shotime has the potential to succeed in this business.
