Hard rock enthusiasts, get ready to head-bang to the electrifying sound of Merchants of Disaster! The international group, led by American guitarist Zach Merchant, has just released their debut single and video “Devil in Disguise” worldwide on March 17, 2023.
The band’s formation is a result of Zach’s chance encounter with Ari Kamin, the frontman for original Guns N’ Roses drummer Steve Adler’s band, at a concert in Colorado. The two instantly hit it off and began trading songs. Zach soon recruited his old friends Ryan (Ryno) Osborn on bass, and Mike Finucane on drums. After all getting together, Merchants of Disaster was literally formed overnight!
“Devil in Disguise” showcases the band’s raw energy and high-octane guitar riffs, driven by Zach’s talent and passion. Ryno and Mike add a heavy metal thunder with their percussive beats, while Ari’s multi-octave rock howl ignites the track. Guest vocalist Rob Lundgren’s fiery vocals add a layer of intensity as they sing about a seductive yet dangerous lover. The music video for “Devil in Disguise” was shot in New York City by renowned director Tom Flynn (known for his work with Lamb of God, Buckcherry, and Fire From the Gods), and it perfectly captures the band’s fiery spirit.
